autex output
This utility application (shown below) was developed for Teather & Greenwood. It reads data from one system, reformats it and exports it to another system. The form shown above allows the user to browse through the data and choose the information to be included in the export. The data is organised in a very visual way allowing the user to quickly and easily select the relevant records.

cpd planner
This stand-alone application was developed in association with ad satis interactive for the Securities Institute as part of their Continuing Professional Development programme. The CPD Planner allows finance professionals to plan their on-going training.

Developed in Visual Basic, this 'wizard' style application guides the user through the steps required to devise a training plan matched to their requirements. When the user has completed their training, they can return to the application to enter their progress through the plan. At the year end, the application writes this information out to a floppy disk for return to the Securities Institute.

This project involved developing the application in Visual Basic and also creating an installation routine using Wise. I also designed all of the graphics used throughout the application. (See here for the graphics incorporated in the CPD Planner.)

puremix encoder
This utility application was developed for an internet radio station. It organises batches of music to be encoded for transfer across the web. It also generates detailed reports about the tasks that it performs.

The application is built around a single form (shown below) which is divided into tab pages, with each page holding a group of the large number of encoding options available.
