Software Demos
Here are some demonstrations of jhT software in action. These movies require Macromedia Flash and may take a few moments to download. If you can just see a grey area - the movie is still downloading.

The movies have also been reduced in size to fit better on a web page.

  • displaying information & simple searching (1min 7secs)
Shows how related information can be effectively displayed. Also shows how records can easily be located by just entering a few characters and selecting the relevant record from a small list.

  • putting it all together (1min 58secs)
Shows how data can be imported into a database and then used to create a series of charts in Excel. These charts are then inserted into a Word document to produce a final report.

  • displaying data graphically (35secs)
Shows how data held in a database can be shown in a graphical format that also allows the user to easily control the display.

  • moving up from excel (47secs)
Shows some of the advantages of moving from an Excel spreadsheet to an Access database.

  • programming excel (34secs)
Shows an Excel based application that consolidates and processes raw data from another spreadsheet. It generates a new fully formatted workbook which structures and displays the results.

  • assigning data using different views (44secs)
Shows how information can be assigned in a database and how sometimes it’s useful to be able to view and work with the same data in different ways.

  • comparing matched data (41secs)
Shows how a user interface can be used to assist in the checking of data that hasn't been matched exactly.

  • scanning data using barcodes (25secs)
Shows how a barcode reader can be used to enter data rapidly into a database.

  • advanced searching (44secs)
Shows how records can be located using many criteria to allow a wide range of different searches.

  • displaying data visually (48secs)
Shows how many different types of data can be displayed in a highly visual, user-friendly way.

The movies were created using BB Flashback software developed by Blueberry Consultants Ltd.
