form reader
This application was developed for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society to enable them to capture the data from members' registration forms. Using a minimal number of keystrokes and a hand-held barcode scanner, the application allows data from a large number of forms to be read very rapidly.

The recorded data is then turned into batch files that can easily be imported into the society's main database. To meet the society's tight time schedule, this application was designed, built and delivered in under three weeks. An animated demo of the software can be seen here.

contacts database
This database application was developed for Skanska Jensen International to enable them to manage their contacts. The front end to the application (which can be seen below) was written in Visual Basic and the data is stored in a separate Access database. This means that the application takes up less screen space and allows for greater versatility.

Amongst the features are export to Psion organisers, telephone number dialling, creation of letters and faxes and advanced search facilities.

marketing data
Developed for Tullett & Tokyo Forex International, this system was designed to provide detailed reports and charts about the company's capital markets business.

The system consists of two applications - a data input application to collect the data about the trades performed and the data reporting application to provide the reports and charts. Both of these applications were written in Access using a SQL Server database as the shared data source.
